Kent is a city located in King County, Washington. The population was 92,411 at the 2010 census. Kent is the third largest city in King County and the sixth largest in the state of Washington. The city has the third-largest industrial area in the United States.

    As a child in the early 1960's, my family lived in my grandparents' summer cabin directly across the lake from Ky Fox's Resort. Once stepped on a nail in the sand on our beach and my dad put me in our rowboat and took me across the lake to where our doctor was renting a cabin. I believe they pulled out the nail and gave me a tetanus shot. Then Dad put me back in the boat and rowed home.
